As we travel back in time, seeking our own history and the meaning of our existence here on Earth, all roads lead to Atlantis and the God’s who walked there among mortal men. It is unfortunate that historians and archaeologists alike; dismiss all mention of God’s as myth and legend and with them the tales that are recorded in ancient texts because there is a mountain of evidence to support them as being the true history of man.
In this series I will present a timeline of the history of Mankind within the tale that ancient texts and tablets tell us, along with the true purpose of our life here on Earth. This is a tale which is known to only a few initiates of the Mystery Schools and the worldwide Priesthood, both of which have existed since time immemorial, though in several different incarnations.
This is a tale of God’s and magic and the mysteries of the soul, whose boundaries encompass all religions, all nations and all peoples. It is an astonishing story which explains the otherwise inexplicable architecture and monuments all around the world. It is a story which does not exist anywhere and which can only be learned by reading the sacred texts of all of the religions, sages and philosophers throughout the ages. This is a monumental task and one which has taken me decades to complete and which I will now present for your perusal:
The best place to begin is always at the beginning: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. All religions are in agreement with this, as are the texts of the Mystery Schools, while Science postulates that intelligence and order came from an explosion of nothing; which violates every known law of Physics while defying common sense.
It seems that all of the people of the world once knew how the world began. Almost all religions have a male living God as the creator of all and they all tell a similar story. In most religions we find the Trinity of three God’s in one, instructions to love and not commit evil and the threat of punishment for wrongdoing. It is only in very recent times that the majority have stopped believing in God and this is due entirely to ignorance, there is proof that the God’s exist, all around the world.
In 360 BC Plato wrote two dialogues; one called CRITIAS and another called TIMAEUS. In these works Plato gives an account of Atlantis. He tells of its creation, its location, its reason for being, how its inhabitants lived and how it was ultimately destroyed. He places the date of its destruction at 9,000 BC.
In the dead centre of the world, in the heart of Egypt lies The Great Pyramid. Long before man had discovered America; the Mediterranean Sea had been named; its very name means middle of the earth; medius meaning middle and terra meaning earth. The Great Pyramid is an enigma to the modern world, whose means of construction is still unknown.
Egypt is known as the land of darkness and has a fascinating history of its own. Although Egyptologists as a whole insist that there are no historical records which give a true account of history, the truth is that the historical accounts given by the ancient Egyptians are so fantastic that they are simply dismissed as fiction.
The Egyptians have a history of being ruled by living God’s and this is the main reason for the dismissal of recorded history. The God Thoth was the Egyptian God of Wisdom and Thoth was born in Atlantis which was described by Plato as being an island larger than Libya and Asia put together, meaning that it would have spanned the whole of the Atlantic Ocean, from South America to the Mediterranean.
Thoth gives his own account of his origins in The Emerald Tablets. Thoth the Atlantean is also known as Hermes Trismegistus, meaning Thrice Great Hermes (for having Three Parts of the Wisdom of the Whole Universe) and is said to have reincarnated as several other prominent historical figures throughout the ages. Although this may sound like the stuff of fantasy, the texts and teachings of both Thoth and Hermes contain knowledge and wisdom that modern science is based upon and explains that which science is still debating.
What is known to the modern world as the Theory of Relativity, was given to mankind by Hermes thousands of years before Einstein was born. While the existence of atoms was still being debated in the early 1900’s, Hermes had not only taught of their existence but had explained how new atoms are formed.
The term Hermetically Sealed, comes from Hermes, whose teachings are well known to all of the Mystery Schools and ALL of the prominent scholars and scientists of the past several hundred years, whose works were based on those of Hermes. The saying comes from the secrecy with which his works were taught. The lips of wisdom are closed except to ears of understanding.
A quick glance at the Emerald Tablets will leave the reader wondering what any of it means, as is also the case with The Kybalion or any other work by Thrice Great Hermes. This is deliberate and a great deal of study is needed before their meaning becomes clear. Initiates of the Mystery Schools are prepared for many years before the secrets of these texts are fully revealed to them and rightly so because the secrets they contain are dangerous in the wrong hands.
The wisdom of Thoth and Hermes is the same knowledge that the Book of Enoch describes thus 9:6 Thou seest what Azâzêl hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which men were striving to learn.
The Gods of the ancient world were known by different names in different parts of the world but they were all the same Gods. Who Enoch calls Azâzêl, the Egyptians called Thoth and the Romans called Hermes. These Gods were not, as is so often repeated by historians, avatars of the planets; they were real beings who walked among men and ruled them.
It is a fallacy that the further back in time we travel, the less intelligent men were. A quick Google search of ancient architecture will leave anyone wondering how such structures were built, their construction being far beyond the skill of modern man. The Great Pyramid is only one of thousands of structures around the world that we are not capable of building. The knowledge of the modern world pales in comparison to that of the ancients.
While from Plato we only have 9,000 year old, second hand information with regards to Atlantis, Thoth claims to have lived there. Thoth refers to himself as a child of light and a both a sun and son of the morning, he refers to his brethren as being star born and sons of the morning. In the Christian Bible the Devil is called Lucifer, Son of the Morning, Lucifer translating as Lightbearer. Light is the universal metaphor for knowledge and it was Lucifer who tempted Adam and Eve with the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden.
While there is not room in this article to compare all of the gods, or Gods of the different religions, I will go into great detail in those which follow. It is enough to say that Atlantis was the home of the God’s who walked among us and that those God’s were the Fallen Angels described in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.
What happened on Atlantis is unclear, though we can be sure that it was destroyed. The Bible tells us that the flood was brought because human women had mated with the Fallen Angels and that DNA had been corrupted. Noah was the last man with pure DNA and God chose him to build his ark in order that his DNA and those of the animals he kept would survive.
According to Thoth; the Atlanteans had become corrupted (Downward into the darkness turned the thoughts of the Atlanteans) as their consciousness was lowered over time. He contends that Atlantis was sunk and every trace of its existence wiped from the Earth with a flood brought by the seven Lords of the Cycles who dwell in the Halls of Amenti, in response to the actions of the Atlanteans.
There is clear evidence that a worldwide flood took place at some point in the past and the sinking of a vast continent sat in the middle of the Atlantic ocean would certainly have an effect on sea levels. Looking at Google Earth; we can see that from the North Atlantic on the west side of Africa, travelling east, nothing but desert exists all the way over to Saudi Arabia, as though all of the vegetation was simply swept away.
In Plato’s dialogue: Timaeus he mentions that the Straits of Heracles (Gibraltar) were impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way; and this was caused by the subsidence of the island. There is evidence that this mud reached further than the Straits of Gibraltar and a Google image search for mud flood shows strange pictures from all around the world of old buildings half buried by mud.
There are also catacombs all over the world where the skeletons of the dead were buried together in the hundreds of thousands, as though a great catastrophe took place and mass burials were necessary. History has a period that we call The Dark Ages which describes hundreds of years where nothing happened and no advances were made and then suddenly, we moved forward again.
We have had several changes in our calendars over the past thousand years or so and it is entirely possible that the mud flood and the sinking of Atlantis were not as far back in history as we have been led to believe.
What we can be certain of is that our ancestors had knowledge that we no longer have. We can also be sure that a civilisation far more advanced than our own existed not so very long ago and that some of the knowledge from that society survived.
Thoth relates that when only the Temple of Light remained of Atlantis, he was instructed to evacuate and head to Egypt. The Emerald Tablets describe how he taught the men of Khem (Egypt) all of the secrets that he knew. Thoth claims to have built the Great Pyramid himself as a marker of the path to the Halls of Amenti and the way to eternal life.
Whether or not the Pyramid leads to Amenti is not for me to say but the texts which were written by Thoth and Hermes certainly do hold knowledge and wisdom. This wisdom is used by the Mystery Schools, including Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, Theosophy, Thelema and Ariosophy.
In order to understand the knowledge contained in the writings of Thoth and Hermes, an understanding of who we are and where we are is needed. I will go into more detail in the next article.
